Free Live Performances in Crescent Park in the French Market District
"Go 4th to Crescent Park"
4th Fest in Crescent Park in the French Market District begins at 4:30 p.m., with free live music by The World War II Museum’s Victory Belles at 5:30 p.m., followed by Bag of Donuts at 7:00 p.m., leading up to the 9:00 p.m. Dueling Barges Fireworks Show. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own chairs to enjoy the show. (Coolers, glass, and tents are not allowed.) Visit www.FrenchMarket.org for schedule details.
By popular demand the French Market District will also present the third annual Fireworks Photography Workshop with Zack Smith Photography in Crescent Park. Free Dueling Barges Fireworks Display along the historic New Orleans Riverfront
This unique salute to America's Independence will feature a fireworks display from two barges over the Mighty Mississippi (between Gov. Nichols St. Wharf and Canal St. Dock) and can be seen from both banks of the river.

The fireworks show is choreographed to a medley of patriotic songs. This year the Riverfront Marketing Group, through J&M Displays, will provide an iPhone and Android app that will allow anyone who downloads the app to hear the show music in real time in sync to the fireworks.
